Last weekend I had the opportunity to do a demonstration of my upcoming game Durandal, the game of mythic chivalry, at the sci-fi and fantasy convention Forum Fantástico.

The game was a blast, with the players having fun, engaging with the premise of the game, and easily learning the diceless mechanics, an improved legacy from my previous game Dawnfall.

I was fortunate enough to present the game to a couple of players, to whom Durandal was their entry gate to the wonderful world that is our hobby – I feel humbled by this. My love goes out especially to Duarte, the energetic 12-years old who loved to play the giant danish Holger, one of the pre-generated characters.

I will be demonstrating Durandal further in the future, and the game will be on crowdfunding on Gamefound earlier next year. Hope you will join me in making this game come to life. Cheers!
