It has taken me a few years to get here. Medjay is finally finished and available on DriveThruRPG.
This project has been simmering at the back of my mind for a long time, and it finally came together thanks to two sparks earlier this year. The first was the wave of new discoveries and speculation about what lies beneath the pyramids, reminders that the sands of Egypt still hide secrets. The second was my long conversations with my friend Abraham “El Jaguar” Zetina while I was promoting Durandal, who pushed me to lean into pulp adventure and hidden history, and to make the game bold, cinematic, and table-ready.
I’ll be honest: this book should have been out earlier in the year. It was a ton of work, and the process left me a little behind schedule with other projects. Durandal, my bigger project for 2025, has taken a pause so that I could finish Medjay properly and give it the attention it deserved.
The result is a compact, high-energy game of pulp adventure in Egypt’s hidden wars, packed with ritual magic, and monster-hunting cinematic action. If you like Indiana Jones, The Mummy, or Weird Tales–style occult detectives, this is for you.
To celebrate the release, all my other books on DriveThruRPG are 10% off from August 29th until September 7th. It’s a thank-you to everyone who has been supporting me, reading my work, and playing my games.
